Caroline Ann Stanton, daughter of Edward Stanton, [1] was born in about 1850 in Bethnal Green, Middlesex. [2] She married James Sibley on 13 October 1872 at St. Peter's, Stepney, Middlesex. [1]

Sibley aged 2, Edith Sibley aged 1 and Sibylla Sibley aged 0 and two visitors (her sisters-in-law) Mary Ann Sibley aged 43 and Catherine Sibley aged 39. [2]
