Biography

Elizabeth Stanton was born 10 Jun 1722 in Stonington, Connecticut, the fifth child of Thomas Stanton and Thankful (Denison) Stanton. Her baptism was 14 Oct 1722 at First Congregational Church, Stonington, New London County, Connecticut.

She married on 7 Jan 1739/40 Capt Phineas Stanton in her hometown. They had 14 children during the timespan through March 1770:
