Research Notes

  • A 1903 article about the Sons of the American Revolution appears to list Edgar W. Stanton as a "prominent member." However, in 2020, there was no entry in the SAR under "Members" or "Descendants." As the Descendants database is incomplete, future searching may be more productive. (Newspaper article available in Images). Sons of the Revolution is probably a different group than Sons of the American Revolution. (added Jan 2022)
