Amariah Stanton was born 19 Jan 1723/24 at Stonington, New London County, Connecticut Colony. He was the fifth child of Mary Chesebrough & Daniel Stanton.

Amariah Stanton was married 17 Oct 1750 to Delight Champlin by Rev. Ebenezer Rosseter (entry notes that the month is recorded as December in "Wheeler's History").
