As for your version of the WA BMD references they look good, but I am quite happy with my own references and don't see any need to change my system as yet. I use the same format for BMDs for each state and its all just cut and paste with different URLs ofcourse.
Feel free to use your version in place of mine, if you feel it enhances the profiles though. And I am happy to hand the profiles over to you as Profile Manager, if you want to take them on.

With the BMD citations, the thing I'm trying to sort out is how to search for profiles that already cite their BMD records, hence the addition of the "WABMD-birth-1909/1600214" as a unique string to search for. If only the WA govt provided stable URLs for these! But anyway, it's just an experiment at the moment and I'm definitely not trying to change anyone's workflow or style guide.
I used to live in Canberra. Hope it's still as lovely as always! :)

I got interested in the Norton family through my work with the Australia Project on immigration Categories. But yo shouldn't feel obliged to do so if you are working in a different direction. It was mainly just a note for any casual researcher in this area who may come along to take up the baton.

You've added a line, "Note the master is sometimes listed as Captain Hahn.", inside the Category: Catharina, Arrived 22 Jan 1939.
I don't remember seeing this comment made before and I don't think it is accurate - can you identify the source?
Captain Dirk Meinerts Hahn is well known (in SA) as the master of the Zebra (Arrived 1839). The Zebra was the first immigrant ship to arrive in Port Adelaide flying a foreign (non-British) flag. Captain Hahn was popular with the immigrants and they settled and named Hahndorf in his honour. Thanks, Steve.
