Charlie Starkie was a son of William Robert (Stuart) Starkie and Mary Ann (Duckworth) Starkie.[1][2]
Birth
He was born 7 September 1907 at Cornholme, near Todmorden, Yorkshire, England and was baptised 12 October 1907 at the Parish Church of All Saints, Harley Wood, Todmorden.[1][3]
Marriage
Charlie Starkie and Alice Ann Ives were married between July and September 1929 in the registration district of Bury (Lancashire), England.[4]
Residence
- 1911 (with his parents) at 10 Redbrook Place, Rochdale, Lancashire.[3]
Death
The death of Charles Starkie was registered between July and September 1936 in the registration district of Rochdale (Lancashire), England. He was 28 years of age. [5]

- Richard Starkie and Mary Ann Duckworth married 12 Aug 1899 at Padiham. These are the parents of Martha Jane Starkie baptised 20 Apr 1901 at Padiham and seen in the 1911 census as daughter of:
- William Robert Starkie previously known as William Robert Stuart, assumed to be the father of Charlie Starkie and definitely that of Phyllis Stuart, shown on the 1911 census as Phyllis Starkie.
- Marriage not found for Mary Ann Duckworth and William Robert Stuart or Starkie.
- Cornholme is on the border of Lancashire and Yorkshire
