Hello, My name is David West. Starkweather's are in my family tree....my patriarchal grandmother's line goes from West to Beeman to Bostwick to Starkweather. I did a 1 to 1 DNA comparison, and came up with small matches with you on several chromosomes. Not enough to prove relationship, but interesting.

Chr B37 Start Pos'n B37 End Pos'n Centimorgans (cM) SNPs 2 20,748,457 23,196,362 3.2 316 5 145,210,041 147,865,882 3.4 393 5 173,242,579 174,164,216 3.4 231 9 129,481,232 131,948,373 3.6 232 12 64,740,578 67,381,287 3.2 370 18 4,201,153 5,155,397 3.3 215

Largest segment = 3.6 cM

Total Half-Match segments (HIR) = 20.0 cM (0.557 Pct)

6 shared segments found for this comparison.

Hi there! My name is Vicky (Freeth) Majewski and I am a WikiTree Mentor.

This is just a courtesy e-mail to see how things are going. Are you enjoying WikiTree so far? Any questions? Any issues?

Feel free to contact me via my profile page. I am happy to help!

Hi Gary,

You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week so I am checking in to see how it is going. The New Member How-Tos are for you to work at your own pace. If you had time to look, were they helpful?

I'm here to help with questions about how WikiTree works. Just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page. I'll get back to you by the end of the day.

Debi ~ WikiGreeter

PS If you get a "Page Not Found" error when clicking WikiTree email links, you can often find a working version in the public comments on your profile.

PPS Did you discover that the tags on your profile are clickable links to a page of other people who have that tag? You can add more, up to 20 total.

Hi Gary,

Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.

Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.

Once you add profiles to WikiTree they become searchable and in my experience persons interested in these profiles will contact you and may provide further information to expand your family tree.

Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.

Ludwig :)
