Edmund was born 9 May 1795 in Mecklenburg Co., VA. He was the son of William Starling and Susannah Lyne of King and Queen Co., VA.
Edmund married Ann Maria Todd, daughter of US Supreme Court Justice Thomas Todd and his wife Elizabeth Harris, on 2 Oct, 1817. The couple settled in Henderson Co. KY about 1830, and moved to the town of Henderson in 1851. Edmund was a justice of the peace from 1835 to 1850.
Edmund passed away 30 August 1869 in Henderson, KY. [1].
