Priscilla was born about 1769. Priscilla Staton ... She passed away in 1849.
Update on 2/27/2018 from Darrell Stanley:
It appears from the lack of any STATON autosomal DNA matches at Ancestry (I have close to 80,000 DNA matches there), FTDNA Family Finder (Over 6000 matches), and 23andMe autosomal (2000 matches) that neither Priscilla or Charles N. Staton actually had STATON DNA.
The only STATON matches that I have are from the descendants of Charles N. STATON b. 1786.
Therefore, was STATON a married name for Priscilla? According to the Cumberland Census, there was a "Mr. Staton" that was killed by indians in 1787. Was this her husband?
Also, since our Y-DNA shows that Charles N. STATON's father was a WILLIAMS, could the Curtis WILLIAMS killed by Indians about the same time actually be his father?
