Ulrich Stauffer (b. March 14, 1652) the second of two sons with the same name. He was the second of seven children of Christian Stauffer (b. abt. 1580) and Margret Anthoni (b. 1622). The identity of his wife is unknown. The couple had four children. All of the children were born in Germany. Our Stover family of Markham descends from Ulrich and his wife and from their third child, Peter Stauffer (b. abt. 1685). Richard Davis of Mennosearch.com tells us that this Ulrich Stauffer lived in Dirmstein, Bayern, Germany in 1672 and in 1698. This Ulrich Stauffer died sometime after April, 1672 in Dirmstein, Bayern, Germany.
