Hello from the Pack's
 :
Our Family. Walter & Andrea Pack
Andrea Stawski Pack age four

My name is Andrea and I was born in the year of 1943. I truly like Wiki Tree and genealogy because of my families ancestors and so very proud of them in the making of our United States of America.

My husband is Walter was born in 1942. He was the son of Winnie Henderson Pack and Jamie Lee Lilly. He passed away in 1998.

He was affluent about Family History and so very proud of his heritage. He married the love of his life and soul mate, Andrea on Thanksgiving Day.

He was an active member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Hinton; The machinists union and UAW; Head trustee of Lilly/Crews Cemetery, Nimitz; Former commander of the DAV; Machinist at Three Mile Island; Former president of Jumping Branch Ruritan Club; An Army Signal Corps veteran; Class A machinist/tool and die maker; An amateur pilot. A loving husband, father, friend and soul mate

My free time for the past 30 years is mostly spent engaging in some form of genealogical pursuit. I love cemeteries and dead people and I embrace my weirdness. If you look at the people who are a member of wikitree we are related one way or another especially thru my beloved husband's lineages.

Hi Andrea,

Thanks for the information on Margaret, I updated her profile https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/UNKNOWN-57483 It still does not work because she would have been under 10 years old when her daughter Elizabeth was born.

Hi Andrea,

Your England Leaders are completing the six monthly check in with all team members. Thank you for all your work on English Profiles and in particular your work in Cornwall and Kent Teams.

These are unprecedented and difficult times, and we understand as Project Leaders that your situation may have changed somewhat in the last few months. What we are all able to/ wish to contribute on Wikitree has changed. Please let me know if you are happy with your current role and team choice, or if you wish to do something additional or different. Thank you again on behalf of all the Project Leaders for everything you do.

Lizzie

Thank you for your email Lizzie. I truly appreciate being on this team and found many of my husbandand's ancestors came from Shopshire. I am trying to get used to England names of different places and getting better with it. Yes I am very happy to be in the England project.

Thank you, Andrea

Hi Andrea,

The Global Cemeteries Project is currently undergoing our member check-in and wanted to verify that you are still active and interested in being a member of the project. Are you currently assigned to or working with one of our Cemetery Teams? If not, is there a particular Team or area you are interested in participating with? I would be delighted to help you get setup in one or more of our collaborative teams!

We use Google Groups for internal project collaboration, so if you are not yet setup for access feel free to submit a join request and we will get that approved as quick as possible. We also ask that members check their follwed tags to make sure you are following the correct project tag (CEMETERIES) so you don't miss any disucssions in G2G.

Last, but not least, we would like to thank you for all of your contributions to WikiTree and let you konw that any ideas or suggestions for improvement you may have for the Global Cemeteries Project would greatly appreciated!

I look forward to hearing form you soon!

Steve ~Global Cemeteries Project Leader

I'm not sure how this works. I'm trying to find where my grandmother is laid to rest.

She was Catherine Burke, born in 1894, (date could vary slightly) daughter of Ellen and Martin Burke. She died in Newcastle upon Tyne England. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards Sharon.

Thank you for your reply! I went ahead and put you on teams for Clans Innes, Campbell, Dunbar, and Stewart, because of what was listed for you on the old members' interests page. If you would like to change those, or add other teams from the Scotland Project, let me know.

Thank you, Andrea for welcoming me! There’s a lot more to Wikitree than I could have imagined. It’s going to take some time to try and understand all this. I basically joined to make a post on a “David Gifford” 1816. He has no Profile Manager. I posted some conflicting info on his birth place and parents and other info about the family. Will this info be reviewed since there is no Profile Manager? I have found some very interesting info on other family members other than the Giffords, heck of a web site. Forgot to mention I am not a biological descendant but through adoption. Right now, I would be happy just being a Guest member and not a volunteer until I learn my way around the Tree. Thanks.

Hi Andrea,

I've not heard back from your regarding the England Project check-in. I've sent two messages to you previously. I hope you are ok.

One of the requirements for England Project membership is that you respond to the check-ins. Requirements can be found on the England Project page. I've gone ahead and removed you from the project. We are sorry to see you go but you would be most welcome to rejoin via the G2G sign up post at any time.

Best wishes,

Susie, England Project Leader :-)

Hi Andrea, Thanks for the welcome. How much detail do I need to put in my request to volunteer? I am just getting started in Geneology, but have other family members who have researched extensively. At this point I can update Wikitree with their research while I get started picking up their loose ends and adding my own.
