Biography

Isaac Stearns was born in Lovell, Maine on Dec 30, 1792. He was son of Benjamin Stearns and Susanna Frye. [1]

He settled in Dunbarton, New Hampshire in 1819. [2]

Dr. Isaac Stearns married Eunice P. Marshall [2] on May 25, 1826 in Dunbarton, New Hampshire. [3]

After Eunice death, Isaac married Mrs. Elizabeth Carlton Page Lund, daughter of Jeremiah Page. [2] They married April 25, 1833 in Dunbarton, New Hampshire. [4]

He was a physician in Dunbarton. He was "an amiable person, and much respected". He was postmaster at the time of his death in Dunbarton on Aug 31, 1850, age 57. [2] Dr. Isaac Stearns is buried at Dunbarton Center Cemetery. [6]
