Biography

Henry was born 25 Feb 1881 in Illinois.[1] He was the son of Nelson Stedman and Harriet Read.

He was on the census with his father and siblings in Pella township, Ford county, Illinois in 1900.[2]

He married Theresa Belle Drinan in 1904. They had one daughter - Lorna Doone Stedman. The family was on the census in Brenton township, Ford county, Illinois in 1910.[3] The household also included his nephew Harry Stedman (son of his brother John), his sister Nora (Stedman) Hanson and Nora's daughter Helen Hanson.

Henry and Theresa divorced between 1910 and 1913.

He married second Hazel May Douglas in 1913. They had a son - Douglas Stedman. They were on the census in Douglas township, Iroquois county, Illinois in 1920 and 1930.[4][5]

He passed away in 1935 in Gilman, Iroquois county, Illinois. [6]
