When Elizabeth was 16 she married Richard Hingston, an apothecary from Falmouth, on 15 Aug 1725, their marriage being registered at the Kea Meeting House in Kea, Cornwall.^[1][2]

Elizabeth and Richard had twelve children together - eight sons and four daughters - of whom seven survived to adulthood:

1. Nathaniell Hingston: The first-named, born 30 Aug 1726 in Penryn, Cornwall; his birth being registered at the Budock and Falmouth Meeting House in Budock, Cornwall.^[3] He died 04 Feb 1734 (1733, O.S.; 1734, N.S.) at the age of 7 and was buried on 06 Feb 1734 (1733, O.S.; 1734, N.S.) in Kea, Cornwall.^[4]
