George Zumwalt, born Pendleton Co., VA ca.1788 or earlier, perhaps the one of that name in Pike Co. , MO 1830 census; died St. Charles Co. , MO ca.1832 (when his estate was probated. Land, apparently in St. Charles or Franklin Co., MO was sold to William Coshow, Jr.); married Bath Co., VA 10 February 1807, Mary Steele, died before 25 August 1841, daughter of James and Edith (Pyle) Steele
