Garnet B Steele was born in Feb 1889 in Clayton, Jefferson, New York. He was the son of Charles Steele and Clara Lawson. At age 19 Garnet married Lulu Harvey on 4 Jul 1908 in Washington County, New York. Garnet died in 1909 in his home town; he was buried in Clayton Village Cemetery in Clayton.
