Welton Cephas Steeves was born on 19 Oct 1877 in Hillsborough, Albert, New Brunswick, Canada, son of John Dimock Steeves (1839 - 1923) and Lavinia (Trites) Steeves (1851 - 1906).

His siblings were:

  2. Minnie J Steeves (~1874 - 1878)
  3. Mary Ethel (Steeves) Estabrooks (1879 - 1945)
  4. Charles Roy Steeves (1882 - 1952)

Welton (26) married Alice Maude Jamieson (21) (born in Hopewell Cape, Hopewell, Albert on 5 Nov 1882; died in Hillsborough on 3 Jan 1937) on 14 Sep 1904 in Albert. Their children were:

  1. Stanley Clement Steeves (1913 - )
  2. Rev. Armand Steeves (1910s - ~2000s).
