Biography

Isaac Newton Steeves was born on 3 Dec 1860 in Dawson Settlement, Albert, New Brunswick, son of Hiram Steeves (1816–1879) and Hannah Steeves (1817–1895).

His siblings were:

In 1881, Isaac (20) was in the household of Abraham Steeves in Hillsborough, Albert, New Brunswick. [1]

Isaac (21) married Sarah Margaret Jonah (23) (born on 29 May 1859 in Elgin, Albert; daughter of Lewis Jonah and Annie Hannah (Geldart) Jonah) on 6 Sep 1882. Their known children were:

Isaac died on 8 May 1925 in Dawson Settlement, aged 64.[2] [3] He was buried in Jonah Cemetery, Hillsborough, New Brunswick.
