DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mitch by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mitch:

Hello Mitch,

Hello! Please check your email to find a message from me. (Sometimes they get placed in your spam folder.) I'd like to offer help and address any questions you might have on Wikitree. Deb

Hi Mitch,

I note you are leaving a link, to https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Choina-1 on your pre-1700 profiles. what is the relevance of the link? It is not a source for the christening of these early profiles. For the christening data, there are in fact no sources at all and no really biography.

These profiles need improvement and sourcing as soon as possible. See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Wicksted-5 and the rest of the family

Thanks in an anticipation of improvement.

Hello!

I noticed you are working on a GEDCOM and not sourcing very many of them, especially the Pre-1700 profiles. Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

Thanks!

Mitch,

Thanks for contributing to WikiTree.

When the Last Name at Birth (LNAB) is not known, the name Unknown should be used. This applies to anyone, including women who have married and use their spouses name. More information can be found in the Name Fields Help.

Hello, Mitch!

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s VERY important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

Hi Mitch,

We are so happy you decided to upgrade to the Family Member level.

Please visit our tutorial pages to learn how to use WikiTree: How To Use WikiTree. They will save you time, energy, and frustration as you add your family profiles.

Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.
