Biography

Hans Steiner was born circa 1595, in Langnau, Bern Switzerland, the son of Ulrich Steiner, (born 1568) and Anna Kraeyebuehl Steiner. Hans married Anna Gerber and they were the parents of Christian Steiner, who married Magdalena Schmid. ^[1]

Researcher's Notes

There is another Hans Steiner, born in Bern Switzerland, (in Oberdiessbach,) fifteen years after this Hans. He is the husband of Barbli Sturki, and unfortunately, the parents of THAT Hans Steiner have been attributed to this Hans. I am therefore rejecting a proposed merge between the two of them, because they should NOT BE MERGED
