Biography

Arthur R. Steitz was born on 19 April 1907^[1] in Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconisn.^[2] He was the son of Adam Steitz and Mathilda Wrensch, both born in Wisconsin.^[3]

In 1910, Arthur Steitz lived with his parents, Adam and Tillie Steitz, and three brothers and sisters. Adam, a buyer and manager of a department store, lived in a home he owned at 2129 Wright Ave., Milwaukee, with his family.^[4]

In 1920, Arthur Steitz (indexed as Steils) lived in Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with his parents, Adam and Matilda, and three sisters. Adam was a merchant in a shoe store. Adam owned the home they lived in at 2129 Wright Street.^[5]

Arthur R. Steitz, Attorney of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin,, died on 22 March 1975^[1] in MIlwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin,^[6] at the age of 67. He was survived by his wife, the former Catherine Watters, five children, and siblings Pearl Lynch, Mildred Kunkel and Gladys Scheibe. He was a member of the Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church. He was to be buried at the Wiscoinsin Memorial Park.^[7]
