Mary, Daughter of Thomas, is often confused with Ann Mary Stevens Ball - Daughter of Hezekiah and wife of James R. Ball. Ann Mary Stevens is not Mary E. Stevens although some researchers have placed her as such. One interesting note: James Ball's mother was Rebecca Stephens. These Stephens/Stevens may very well be cousins or other relations of Thomas's line that made the journey from Kentucky to Missouri but no affirmative link to Thomas has been found.
