Joyce (Stephens) Anderson of Stephenville, age 69, died Wednesday, October 1, 2003, at a local hospital.

She was born A. O. & Sarah Martha (Salisbury) Stephens Sr. on April 21, 1934, in Erath County, Texas. She was married to Paul Bordner Anderson on October 28, 1951, in Erath County, Texas. She was a member of First Church of Nazarene, was a Sunday School teacher for many years, and was involved with Nazarene Team Fellowship. She was a teacher's aide in the Resource Department.

Survivors include her husband: Paul Bordner Anderson of Stephenville; one son: Rev. Randall Anderson of Shreveport, LA; two brothers: A. O. Stephens Jr. of Hobbs, NM and R. D. Stephens of Stephenville; four sisters: Rudene Lee, Ruth Carr, and June Luttrell of Stephenville, and Fern Flory of Carlton; three grandchildren: Melody Jones of Watauga, TX, Rachel Anderson of Shreveport, LA, Amanda Anderson of Shreveport, LA; one great grandchild: Nora Jones of Watauga, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, Larry Anderson on July 18, 1974.
