Biography
Reubin A. Stephens was son of Green Berry Stephens and Celia Elizabeth Cook. [1] Died 14 Dec 1899 Burial Details Unknown, burial location is uncertain, no cemetery suggested on memorial [2]
He married Texana A Blackmon on 4 Jun 1888.
According to the 1900 census, he and Texana had at least 2 children, one who was deceased before 1900. That child is most likely C____ Stephens born 17 Dec 1891, as recorded in Green Berry's Bible. This entry is just after B____ Stephens born 2 Mar 1890 [Birdie Alma Stephens] in the list of Green Berry's grandchildren. Also recorded is the entry, R A Stephens joined Missionary Baptist Church at The Rock in Spring of 1891.
