Biography
George Goings Stephenson (son of George Washington Stephenson and Ida Florence Goings) was born May 23, 1908 in Lewis County, Missouri, and died November 18, 1978 in Lewis County, Missouri. He married Lucille Opal Eagleson on December 24, 1933 at Perry, Missouri. He was a carpenter and they lived briefly in Texas and South Carolina but spent the greater part of their lives in St. Louis, Missouri. They were members of the Baptist Church. She died August 26, 1994 in Adams County, Illinois. They are buried in Forest Grove Cemetery in Canton, Lewis County, Missouri.
