Eleanor (Stephenson) Liddle was born in Northumberland, England.

Eleanor was born in 1784. She was the daughter of Robert Stephenson and Mabel Carr. She was christened on 18 April 1784 at Ovingham, Northumberland. ^[1][2]

Eleanor married Stephen Liddle in 1824 at St John Church, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland^[3]

Research Note

Family trees on ancestry suggest that Eleanor died in 1847 in Northumberland. I cannot find a record of this death on the GRO index (searched 11 September 2019). There is a death registration in Berwick upon Tweed which could be the right one, but the age of death as 72 years implies that Eleanor was born in 1775, not 1784. ^[4]
