Biography

Cecil Broaddus Stephenson (son of Moses Aaron Stephenson and Nora Belle Broaddus) was born on August 29, 1899 and died in November of 1988 in Sedalia, Missouri. He entered the U. S. Army at age 16 and served in WWI. After the service, Cecil returned briefly to Moberly and worked with his father at the Wabash Railroad shops. He married Margaret Opal Davis on July 4, 1927 in Moberly, Missouri. She is a direct descendant of Daniel Boone. He was employed by the Ford Motor Company and worked his way up to a purchasing executive position. She died August 31, 1988. They are buried in Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
