Biography
John Landers Stephenson (son of James D. Stephenson and America Alexander) was born November 14, 1855 in Kentucky and died December 25, 1936. He married Dora Ann Powell in 1884. He was a farmer and a very good mechanic. He also did carpentry work and built wagons. They made their home on a farm along the Ohio River in Trimble County, Kentucky. The house was on occasion the victim of flood water. Dora died on April 29, 1949. In addition to the four children listed below they had three that died in infancy. They are buried in the Port Royal Cemetery in Henry County, Kentucky.
