Edward died on 6 Apr 1874. Nodaway, Missouri, United States.[1]

Sometimes confused with his father, James Stephenson (bef.1797-aft.1850) who's wife, Mary Ann (Lee) Stephenson (abt.1797-aft.1870) also has the same name as his wife.
