Harriet (Stephenson) Dunn was born in Yorkshire, England.
This profile is part of the Eastrington, Yorkshire One Place Study.
Harriet was born in Beverley, Yorkshire, England, and was baptised there in 1829. She was the daughter of George and Elizabeth Stephenson[1] and lived with her parents in Beverley in 1841.[2]

At the time of the 1851 census Harriet was visiting the Nottingham family in York, Yorkshire.[3]

Harriet married John Dunn in Beverley in 1854.[4] By 1861 the family farmed 220 acres of land in Portington, Yorkshire.[5]

John died in 1866 at the age of 45.[6] In 1871 Harriet was visiting the Ostler family in Potter Newton, Yorkshire. She was an annuitant.[7] In 1881 she lodged in York.[8] By 1901 Harriet lived on her own means in Tormoham, Devon.[9]

Harriet died in 1900 at the age of 80.[10]
