Research Notes

1. In a paper, "The Stetsons and the Ship Building Industry,"[10] presented to the Reunion of either 1910 or 1911, reference is made to a shipyard operated by Caleb Stetson in the town of Kingston, Plymouth County Massachussets prior to 1714 "on Mill Creek, near Drew & Cols works". However this is not a reference this Caleb Stetson who was born in 1765.
