Birth

Franklin (also Frank) was born in September 1857 at Scituate, Massachusetts ^[1]. He was the 2nd child and son of Samuel Dexter Stetson and Hannah Mitchell ^[2]).

Marriage

Married Mary Lilyane Stetson ^[A], 4 Jun 1885 at South Abington ^[3]

A. The Stetson Kindred list Franklin as Frank Dexter ^[2] His tombstone has "Franklin" ^[3]. His Wife on Find A Grave: Memorial #107111916 is listed Mary Lyliane Stetson Stetson, but "Lillian M. Stetson" is carved on the stone. According to the FindAGrave contributor, the name on the memorial is correctly copied from the town records related to her birth and death.
