Birth

Abner Creighton Stetson was born in 1834 [1] at Damariscotta, Maine [2], He was the 6th child and son of Abner Stetson and Mary (Hiscock) Stetson and the 2nd of their children to bear the name Abner, altho they distinguish between the two by using Abner's middle name [2].

Marriage

Married Rachel Gammons/Gammans [A], 1854 [3]

  2. Daniel R. Stetson, b. 28 Oct 1857; d. 11 Sep 1875 "lost at sea" [3].
