Biography

William was born in 1788. He was the son of Oliver Stetson and Jeanette Anderson. He passed away about 1868. On the tenth day of December 1840 William Anderson Stetson of Chautauqua County, NY and Isaac Foster purchased two parcels of land in Kenosha, WI, the first parcel of one hundred and ninety one acres, and second parcel of eighty acres on the same day as son-in-law Elisha Mortimer Kinney purchased land. On the third day of March 1843, William alone purchased another eighty acres in the district of Lands (Kenosha).
