Ambrose Lanoue Jr., has bought the Ann Eliza Shaw property in Main St., opposite Charlemont Inn, consisting of a house, barn, and several acres of land adjoining the high school lot in the rear. The sale was made through the heirs of Mrs Shaw, who died during the late summer. [published Saturday, October 28, 1950, Springfield Union]
