Sir George Steuart was born 12 October 1688, He was the son of Thomas Steuart and his wife Jean Mackenzie. He succeeded his father as 16th Laird of Grandtully in 1720.
Sir George married Anne Cockburn Daughter of Sir Archibald Cockburn of Langton.
Anne died in Dundee on 20th Aug 1757.
Anne & George left no issue.
