Biography

John (Steuart) Drummond is a member of Clan Stewart.

Sir John Archibald Steuart, 20th Laird of Grandtully, sixth baronet, was born at Murthly, 25th October 1794.

On the death of his mother, in 1833, Sir John Steuart succeeded to the estate of Logiealmond, and assumed the name and arms of Drummond.

He was married on the 25th January 1832 to Lady Jane Steuart, eldest daughter of Francis, Earl of Moray.

He died in Paris, France on the 20th May 1838, and was buried at Murthly, Scotland.

His wife. Lady Jane survived him, and married, secondly, Lonsdale Pounden, M.D.
