Biography
David Steuart is a member of Clan Stewart.
Major David Steuart was born on 19 March 1830. He was the son of Robert Steuart and his wife Helen Buchanan. [1]
He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 34th Regiment & he lived at Steuart Hall, Stirling, Stirlingshire, Scotland.
He died on 16 December 1890 at age 60.
Marriage
David Steuart was married to Dorothy Emily Cox the daughter of the Reverend John Cox, on 17 January 1861.
