The only thing we really know about William A. Stephens or Stevens was that he married Mary (Mollie) Reed in 1883 at the home of Mollie's mother, Nancy Reid.
There are two possible candidates in Conecuh County in 1870. One is the child of William Stephens and Melvina Chitty. The other is the child of Benjamin Stephens and Mary Thomas.
