Biography

Nathaniel Parker Stevens was born about July 23, 1810 in Stukely-Sud, Memphrémagog, Quebec, Canada, son of Artemas Stevens (1774–1834) and Mellie Goddard (~1785–~1864).

Nathaniel (22) married Sophia Richardson (20) (born about March 24, 1812 in Cheshire, New Hampshire, United States; daughter of Calvin S Richardson and Mindwell Mindred (Barrett) Richardson) on September 23, 1832 in Sheff order Anglican Church Quebec Canada.[1] [2] Their children were:

In the 1842 Census, Nathaniel P Stevens, Farmer, in Brome, Shefford, Lower Canada . [3]

In 1861, Nathaniel P (57), married head of household in Patton, Brome, Canada East. [4]

In the 1871 Census, Nathaniel P (61), married, Labourer, in Brome, Brome, Quebec. [5]

Nathaniel died about May 3, 1872 in Knowlton, Brome-Missisquoi, Quebec, aged about 61.[6]
