Research Notes

I visited Fairview Cemetery today and took some photos of a group of Wright graves, standing in a row:

Ebenzer Wright Family of Westford

This is the order, left to right:

Ebenezer Wright, 1735
Hannah (Fletcher) Wright Hildreth
Ebenezer Wright (1705-1781)
Deliverence Wright (-1789)
  • One more small one I can't read.

Is this enough to declare the correct husband of Deliverence to be Ebenezer (1705-1781) ?

The other [Wright-2444 | Ebenezer (1693-?)] may have married a Deborah Wincoll in Boston in 1728 and had Mary in Chelmsford, 1729.

This conclusion would also make Hodgman, who says it was the Ebenezer born in 1693, wrong.

I will try to locate the Ebenezer Wright (1693-1735) on Find A Grave: Memorial #35936143 in Hillside Cemetery.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Deliverance by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Deliverance:

The correct husband, and father of some of these children is Wright-22782. I will be moving the children and correcting this profile.
