Elizabeth (Stevens) Docton was born in Cornwall, England.
Elizabeth was baptised at St. Ives on 6th July 1827.[1]
In 1841, she lived at home in Pudding Bag Lane, St. Ives, Cornwall.[2]
Just before her marriage, she was having to act as the head of the household[3], now in Fore Street (present are siblings Amey P., Mary J., George P. and William P.). Her mother had died, and her father was away at sea, sometime at the port of Liverpool forging a relationship with his next wife Louisa [3][4], who would later look after some of Elizabeth's siblings until their piecemeal emigration to Australia.
She died of typhoid in 1869 - with her was Honor Uren of Tregenna Place.[5]
