Biography

Alice Pearl was born in Nova Scotia on April 1, 1896,[1] the daughter of George Stevens and Alice Redden.[2] Their family lived and farmed in Scotch Village, Nova Scotia.[1][3]

Alice (age 19) married James F Lawrence (age 41) on 27 December 1915 in Gardner, Worcester, Massachusetts.[2] Their children were:

  • Fred Lawrence, born about 1916
  • Robert Lawrence, born about 1917
  • Harry Lawrence, born about 1917
  • Guy Lawrence, born about 1918
  • Dorothy Lawrence, born about 1920
  • Percy Laurence, born about 1925.

Their family lived and farmed in Colonsay, Humboldt (District), Saskatchewan.[4][5][6][7]

She passed away about 1974 and was buried in the Colonsay Cemetery in Colonsay, Saskatchewan.[8]
