She was named in her mother's will as Elizabeth Woodman. Elizabeth Stevens of Andover, widow, wrote her will 21 October 1687, proved 25 September 1694, in which she made bequests of household goods to her eldest daughter Elizabeth Woodman, and granddaughter Elizabeth Woodman.
Joshua married Elizabeth Stevens on Jan. 22, 1665 in Andover, Essex, Massachusetts.
