Biography

Bessie Rose Stevens, born 18 Sep 1869 at North Ogden, Utah, was a daughter of Sidney Stevens (1838-1910) and Mary Jane (Thick; 1838-1918).

Bessie Stevens married Gideon Thaddeus Alvord 10 Jan 1889 (possibly intention published on 31 Dec 1888) in Logan, Weber County, Utah, United States [1],[2]. Per the Alvord genealogy (published in 1905), they had 5 children, born at North Ogden, Utah [3]. A sixth child is listed in their online memorial sites:

Bessie Rose Ann (Stevens) Alvord died in Salt Lake City, 8 Jan 1945, and was buried in North Ogden Cemetery [4]. Her death record has her parents as Sitney Stevens and Mary Jane Fleck.[5]
