Biography
Jonas was born 5 July 1751 in Townsend, Middlesex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, to parents Jonas Stevens and Ruth Farrar. [1]
Research: Profiles not created, but parents "Jonas Stevens of Townshend and Ruth Farrar of Concord were Lawfully Married by the Rev'd Phinehas Hemenway Pastor of Townshend" on 13 December 1750.[2]
Jonas Stevens ... He passed away about 1833. Written on family papers: " Was in Revolutionary War; Born in Townsend Mass., moved to Falmouth, then to Gray, Maine." (This info as not been confirmed by documentation)
