Biography

Ashach Stevens was born in Wells, Rutland Vermont, United States on 18 April 1806^[1]. She was the daughter of Samuel Stevens and Ruth Howe.

Ashach married Chauncey Howe on January 8, 1824 by Gideon Miner J.P. in Wells, Rutland, Vermone, United States^[2]. She was Chauncey's first cousin. Ashach's mother is the sister of Chaucey's father, Samuel Howe.

In 1850, Ashach and Chauncey were living in Luzerne, Warren, New York, United States^[3] with two of their children Newton, 21 and Eugene where Chauncey was a farmer.

Ashach died on September 1, 1877 at Lake Luzerne, Warren, New York, United States.^[4] Note: The birth date on this source is incorrect and she is buried in the Lake Luzerne Cemetery, Lake Luzerne, Warren, New York, United States, Section C^[4].
