Biography

Lt Jack Stevens served in the Royal Canadian Navy in World War II

During WWII 'Jack' was a Lt. in the RCNVR, eventually taking command of several Fairmile motor launches, small patrol vessels somewhat akin to the US PT boats. He married Kathleen during the war, and they had two sons, one of whom died in infancy.

The Fairmiles were small vessels with number designations....similar to the US PT boats. Couldn't find a suitable category. I know he was master of a couple of the Fairmiles but not the specific numbers of them. Thanks
