Probate The estate of Lt. John Stevens entered probate 25 March 1690 with widow Esther as administratrix. Real estate was valued at £342.10 which did not include 40 acres of land that eldest son John had taken for his portion. DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with John by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with John:

Stevens-6053 and Stevens-2468 appear to represent the same person because: I believe that these are the same persons, not to be confused with Stevens-233.
I've cleaned up his parents and spouses, but I haven't double-checked his children yet; they may or may not be correctly assigned.

The early Stevens of Essex Co., MA are all messed up. See this g2g post that's trying to detangle them.

His two wives overlap-- first one doesn't die until five years after he married the second; something's amiss or there's an unrecorded divorce (rare).
