On 25 Dec 1780 Margaret Stephenson, of Low Coniscliffe, daughter of George Stephenson & Mary (his wife) was baptised at Coniscliffe, St Edwin. [1]

On 9 Dec 1809 John Harrison married Margaret Stephenson at Billingham, St Cuthbert. Witnesses: Robert Fenwick; William Robson. [2]

There is a useful Barrington baptism record for John and Margaret's daughter Mary. On 24 Feb 1811 Mary Harrison, born 5 Aug 1810, 1st daughter of John Harrison (shoemaker, native of Billingham) by his wife Mary Stephenson (native of Coniscliffe, Durham) was baptised at Billingham, St Cuthbert. [3]
